Principal’s Message

It is a great honour to be a part of Social Work College with a rich legacy thoughts of Freedom Fighter Bhai Chhannusingh Chandele and also a matter of pride for me to be associated with Bhai Chhannusingh Chandele College of Social Work, Solapur as an alumnus and now as a faculty member and Acting Principal.

Since, the inception of college in the year 1994 the college has successfully completed 29 years of academic excellence. The College has a rich legacy of social service for social development in rural and urban community. We follow a pedagogy which is holistic and comprehensive, we try our best to impart quality education to the students, equip them with soft skills and groom their personalities. We try to inculcate ethics, moral and human values so that our students become responsible citizens of the country.

We also strive to fulfil our social responsibility of extending a helping hand to the deprived communities through our field action project and extension activities. Quality education provides the foundation for equity in society. Quality education enables people to develop all of their attributes and skills to achieve their potential as human beings and members of society. All this has been possible due to the valuable contribution and joint efforts of all the stakeholders – the Management, the Staff of the College, the Students, Alumni, Field Work Agencies, Government organization, NGO, Parents, etc.
